GMBHA Membership Sales & Relations Manager


Responsibilities: Membership Sales & Relations Manager

  • Acquire new memberships at all levels as per budget (Allied, Allied Upgrade)
  • Develop a referral program for new and existing members and follow up on membership leads promptly.
  • Follow up on membership leads
  • Set up meetings with potential members
  • Arrange neighborhood Hotel Meetings throughout the calendar year and work with the Chairs and President on agenda and guest speakers. Attend all meetings and take minutes.
  • Continuously update and add to member emailing lists
  • Keep solicits organized and consistently follow up
  • Attend events hosted by partner organizations with CEO to generate new members.
  • Assist the Marketing & Events Manager with events.
  • Attend all GMBHA events and other events in partnership with GMBHA
  • Other duties as required


  • Passion for sales and the hospitality industry
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience working with GrowthZone and ACT
  • Knowledge of the Miami-Dade Hospitality Industry (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Communications, Marketing (preferred)
  • Strong organization, time management, and planning skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, team player
  • Ability to effectively build and sustain business relationships.
